Please join us on May 25th when Bridgett McGowen-Hawkins presents "Oh, What Magic Might Come if We Talked...and Actually Listened!" This half-day interactive workshop will help participants develop the bridge differences between you and others while simultaneously working to understand those differences.

Become aware of how to effectively communicate in the midst of but with respect for differences and appreciate that, to comfortably live in the 21st century, we need real, practical techniques that lead to welcoming and understanding our differences rather than ignoring them, suffering because of them, or wishing they would altogether disappear. Come realize the magic of listening before and while talking to others.

Upon conclusion of the session, participants will know how:

  • diversity affects communication;
  • to recognize biases and privilege they may have; and
  • to better communicate with others who are different from them.
